I'm back in town now.  Photos and stories will come later.

I added a few new things here.  As you can see, on the left there are several new blocks.  The Random Image block is one that comes by default with image.module.  The Recent Comments block is a core default block, as is the feed block.  So if you have an RSS feed reader, you can get my feed by clicking on the little RSS icon.  I also added a links page, where I'll be adding a ton of links in different categories.  If you happen to click on a link to somewhere else on this site and it doesn't work, just let me know.  I figured out how to enable clean URLs on a 1&1 server, finally, so there is not the random ?q= anymore.  Oh, and I also added a block to the bottom of each node with links to similar posts.  I think that's all for now.

Just some updates about what's been going on, in case you don't know.

First of all, school is out for the summer!  I have enjoyed not having classes all the time.  But now it's back to business with work and many, many projects Katy and I have planned for the summer.

Also, at the end of finals, my cousin, Brittany, was riding a motorcycle with a friend when a truck turned into their lane and hit them.  They were both killed immediately.  Needless to say, it's been pretty rough for everyone around here since then.  Keep Wanda and Craig (Brittany's parents), Brooke (sister), Rochelle (Grandma), and all her friends and family in your prayers.  Right now is the toughest time, after the relatives and friends have gone back home and every goes back to work.  I will be posting some pictures of Brittany over the next few weeks to remind everyone to pray for her family and friends.

Since then, I've been all over the place: Winston-Salem, NC; Lexington, VA; Marietta, GA; Wendell, NC; and back to Oxford, NC.  Since I haven't posted anything in almost a month, over the next week or so I will post a photo-of-the-day for each day I was gone.  So stay tuned for the onslaught of pictures.
