AMD to Split

It has been rumoured for a while now, but it is official now.  AMD is splitting into two companies; one being the design company, the other being the manufacturing company.  As of right now, it looks like the name of the new fab company is, get this, The Foundry Company.  I guess it could be much worse.  Hopefully this will help AMD focus more and be able to get back on track in the CPU sector.
