Google Summer of Code

I received an email today notifying me that my application to Google's Summer of Code 2008 was accepted.  What does that mean?  I will be coding A LOT this summer.  My project is to improve Massa's Charts module for Drupal 6.  I will mainly be adding CCK and Views support into the module.  I will post updates on my progress here.  Now it's time to go learn all about SimpleTests and go code swimming in CCK and Views.
